Vdevida, a visionary vegan brand, embarked on a mission to educate its audience about the art of cooking healthy and delicious plant-based meals. The challenge was to create a compelling and informative brand identity that resonated with those seeking a vegan lifestyle while fostering an understanding of the culinary journey.

The solution:
As a designer, I approached Vdevida’s branding challenge with a deep understanding of the brand’s mission to educate and inspire its audience to cook healthy and delicious vegan meals. My role was to craft a visual identity that not only celebrated veganism but also conveyed the joy, creativity, and educational aspects of plant-based cooking.
The logo, a fusion of creativity and symbolism, was carefully designed to encapsulate Vdevida’s mission of teaching people to cook healthy and delicious vegan meals.
The “V” Shape:
The central element of the logo was the stylized letter “V.” This “V” stood not only for “Vdevida” but also symbolized “Veganism” and “Vitality.” It served as a strong, recognizable anchor for the brand. Its clean lines and dynamic form represented both the modernity of plant-based cuisine and the sense of forward movement, aligning with Vdevida’s mission to inspire growth and exploration in the culinary world.
The Spoon and Leaf:
Within the contours of the “V,” I incorporated a meticulously detailed spoon with a leaf at its end. This spoon and leaf combination was a powerful visual metaphor for healthy and delicious vegan cooking. The spoon represented the act of cooking and nurturing, while the leaf symbolized the organic, plant-based nature of Vdevida’s cuisine. Together, they formed a harmonious union, reflecting the brand’s philosophy of using natural ingredients to create nourishing meals.

Full-Color Food Illustrations:
To add a vibrant touch to the branding, I integrated full-color food illustrations. These illustrations were a celebration of the diverse and appetizing dishes that can be created in the world of vegan cuisine. From luscious fruits to mouthwatering vegetables and delectable grains, each element was meticulously crafted to convey the rich palette of flavors that vegan cooking offers.
These food illustrations not only visually appealed to the audience but also communicated the abundance and variety that vegan cuisine brings to the table. Vibrant Design Elements:
In my role as a designer, I carefully selected a vibrant color palette that reflected the brand’s health-conscious mindset and celebrated the natural world. Shades of green, fresh yellows, and earthy browns dominated the palette, resonating with the vibrancy of vegan ingredients. As a designer, I integrated these vibrant colors into the brand’s design elements, infusing energy and vitality into every aspect of Vdevida’s visual identity.

Typography and Messaging:

My choice of clean and modern typography reinforced the brand’s commitment to clarity and simplicity in cooking.
In crafting messaging, I focused on celebrating the joy of plant-based cooking. Phrases like “Cook with Love,” “Nourish Your Soul,” and “Discover Delicious” were carefully integrated into the design. These messages aimed to inspire and educate, encouraging the audience to embrace vegan cuisine as a source of delight and well-being. My role as a designer was to ensure that the typography and messaging harmonized seamlessly, creating a visual and emotional synergy that communicated Vdevida’s mission effectively.
